WORLD BEACH ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
On behalf of California Ultimate Association (CUA) and the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), we want to extend to you and all the Ultimate community a warm, sunny welcome to Huntington Beach, California. Known as “Surf City USA,” this beach community is just south of Los Angeles in Orange County, 30-40 minutes from Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, home to one of the best air shows in the USA, and LeiOut (celebrating 22 years of Beach Ultimate).
While Huntington Beach is accustomed to flying discs, WBUC 2023 will be the most spectacular showcase our sport has ever seen. We can’t wait to show you the Greater Los Angeles Area full of beauty, athleticism, and the spirit of Beach Ultimate.

Help us put on an amazing event while having fun watching the best Beach Ultimate on earth! Reasons to Volunteer:

- For a limited amount of volunteers who work 4+ whole days of the event/setup/teardown, we’ll put you up in a nearby hotel room
- We have 8 spots available for out-of-town/out-of-country volunteers who can serve the event for 6+ days (setup begins October 28th, tear down ends November 6th)

WBUC 2023 will take place November 1-5, 2023.
Huntington Beach’s City Beach is a public park so your team can get to town whenever they would like. The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will be setting up starting Saturday, October 28 and might direct your team to move down the beach a bit, but we also may be able to loan you a set of field lines to practice with. Closer to the event we’ll set up some practice slots that your team can reserve for Monday & Tuesday, October 30-31.
